How long is a travel day?
A travel day ends at 23:59 CET of the day you travel, on which you can take all the trains you want!
Can I travel in my country?
Only to cross the border. The Global Pass allows up to 2 journeys in your home country: 1 to leave, 1 to return - multiple train transfers included.
Am I ready to board with a Pass?
Most local and regional trains- yes! But you’ll need to reserve seats to board most high-speed, international and night trains. Popular trains fill up fast, so book early!

How to get the most out of this product
The Interrail Pass EURO 2024 has a limited travel period; therefore, plan your trip carefully to use your travel days and get the most bang for your buck! Like Cinderella, these exclusive Passes will lose their magic (and expire) at midnight on 21 July 2024).

1st and 2nd class Passes included.
- An exclusive product for match ticket holders that offers Pass holders a six-week window to use their travel days (you must use your travel days on or before 21 July 2024).
- Special rules apply to this exclusive offer! 10 and 15-day Passes are usually valid for two months, and 4, 5, and 7-day Passes are usually valid for one month (these are the names of our regular Passes). Keep in mind that your Interrail Pass EURO 2024's validity will expire at midnight on 21 July, so the date you start using your Pass will influence how long it's valid for travel.
- As this is an exclusive offer for match ticket holders, the Interrail Pass EURO 2024 activation period is limited.
14 July 2024 is the last possible activation date for 4, 5, and 7 days within 1 month Passes (Pass can be activated from 9 June until 14 July).
- 16 June 2024 is the last possible activation date for 10 and 15 days within 2 months Passes (Pass can be activated from 9 June until 16 June).

What are the travel dates for the Interrail Pass EURO 2024?
The Interrail Pass EURO 2024 can only be used to travel between 9 June and 21 July 2024 (only activated Passes within the limited timeframe can be used for travel).
Short on time? Buy a Pass valid for 4, 5, or 7 travel days to get from your home country to a few German host cities and back again (4, 5, and 7-day Passes are on sale until 13 July 2024).
Want to make an adventure out of it? Buy a Pass valid for 10 or 15 travel days and take your time to get to multiple German host cities and beyond before you head home again (10 and 15-day Passes are on sale until 8 June 2024).
Note: The travel period ends on 21 July for all Passes, even if you activate your Pass less than a month before this date. For example, if you choose to activate your Pass on 13 July to travel to the Final in Berlin, your Interrail Pass EURO 2024 will become invalid after 21 July.
Additional conditions for Youth travellers
To travel with a discounted Youth Pass, you must be aged from 12 up to and including 27 on the date you choose to start your trip.
Addition conditions for Senior travellers
To travel with a discounted Senior Pass, you must be aged 60 or older on the date you choose to start your trip.
Additional conditions for Adults with Children
- Children under 4 travel for free and do not need an Interrail Pass. You may be asked to sit a child under 4 on your lap during busy times. If you'd like to reserve a separate seat for your child under 4, then you will need to add a free Child Pass to your order, as it's only possible to book seats/beds for Pass holders. Read more
Children aged 4 to 11 travel for free with a Child Pass. A child must be accompanied at all times by at least one person with an Adult Pass. This doesn’t have to be a family member and can be anyone over 18.
- Children must be 11 or younger on the date you choose to start your trip.
- Up to 2 children can travel with 1 adult. For example, when 2 adults are travelling, they can take 4 children with them. If more than 2 children are travelling with 1 adult, a separate Youth Pass must be purchased for each additional child.
Children under 12 travel in the same travel class as the accompanying adult.
- Travellers aged 12 to 27 can travel with a Youth Pass.
General conditions for everyone
- Only European residents can travel with an EURO 2024 Interrail Pass (excluding German nationals). If you’re a non-European resident, you can travel with a Eurail Pass. Read more
- The Interrail Global Pass is valid for travel in your country of residence during one outbound journey and one inbound journey that occur during travel days at any point in your trip. Read more
- You cannot use the One Country Pass to travel to or from the country your Pass is valid in. The One Country Pass is only valid for travel with participating train, ferry and public transport companies in the country covered by your Pass. Read more

- Most high-speed and night trains require a reservation at an additional cost. Read more
- 1st class Passes are valid in both 1st and 2nd class carriages. 2nd class Passes are only valid in 2nd class carriages.

- Make your seat reservations soon

Since the UEFA European Football Championship takes place in the summer, we recommend booking any necessary seat reservations as soon as possible (reservation fees are not included in the Passes). You can travel without a seat reservation on most regional trains, but buying a seat reservation is mandatory for some high-speed, international, and night trains. Keep in mind that international trains to Germany require a reservation.
- Can I buy the Interrail Pass EURO 2024 if I live in Germany?

No. It’s only available for European citizens (not German residents) and non-Europeans with an official residence in Europe. German residents can benefit from the DB Ticket EURO 2024 for train travel within Germany instead.
But don’t worry! You can still travel with Interrail without the discount if you want to plan a European train trip.

- What if I sell my match ticket – can I still travel with the Interrail Pass EURO 2024?

No, only match ticket holders can use the Interrail Pass EURO 2024 for travel. Your train ticket is only valid in combination with the EURO 2024 Fan Pass.
- What if someone else bought my match ticket for me?

You can either travel together, or they can transfer their match ticket to you. Once you have a match ticket in your UEFA Mobile Tickets app, you can access your EURO 2024 Fan Pass in the UEFA EURO 2024 app. On board, simply show your Fan Pass together with your Interrail Pass EURO 2024.
- Do I need to show my match ticket on board the train?

You will need to show your EURO 2024 Fan Pass on each train. The Fan Pass will allow you to prove that you have a match ticket, even when match tickets have not been sent to your mobile phone.
- Can I purchase an Interrail Pass EURO 2024 if I only plan to visit the Fan Zone?

No, this Interrail Pass EURO 2024 is only available to match ticket holders. If you only intend to visit the Fan Zone in a Host City, you can purchase any other regular Interrail Pass.
- What is the EURO 2024 Fan Pass?

The brand new EURO 2024 Fan Pass will provide you with access to exclusive perks for your tournament experience. The Fan Pass will be available on the UEFA EURO 2024 app closer to the tournament.
On the train, the Fan Pass works like any other railcard or discount card: Show it to the conductor with your valid Interrail Pass EURO 2024.
- I have tickets for several matches. Can I buy multiple Interrail Passes EURO 2024?

Yes, you can buy one Pass per match ticket. However, purchasing a single Interrail Pass EURO 2024 with more travel days could be a better option if you're going to multiple matches.
